Signs Your Elite Welding & Fabrication Is Failing

• The gate sags at the latch end but the hinges look tight. The weld holding the hinge barrel to the gate frame has begun to tear at the top edge. You’ll see a hairline crack running along the toe of the weld, often with a faint rust line. It gets worse every time the gate cycles.
• A creak or groan that changes pitch as the gate moves. That’s metal flexing around a weld that has partially separated. The sound is the two surfaces rubbing against each other under load. In Flower Mound’s clay soil, gate posts shift seasonally, and a weld that was sound becomes a hinge point.
